Halloween

Just because it's halloween doesn't mean you can forget your favorite team.

Or your favorite player on that team. Mikey is almost as cute as I am so I went dressed as him to Aunt Erin's Fall Festival. But that was the day before. On the actual day...

We brought out the big guns. Every year at church we have a special event called Trunk of Treats. We did the Wizard of Oz - and totally placed FIRST! That's right. I'm the Wicked Witch of the West. Scary, huh? I'm sure that's why we won.

Mom was my flying monkey. Fitting, I know.

And I may or may not have eaten some candy to keep me from screaming in the car on the way home...

My mother was negligent. Not of me, but of somebody else that is very important to her. See, Aunt Nikki gets half a day off on Tuesday and this whole semester she's been giving it up to help Mom get to Norman with me. And her birthday fell on a Tuesday this year and it was a busy day and... Mom forgot to get ANY pictures of us together. I tried to tell her, but she wouldn't listen. So!

This post is just for my Aunt Nik. I love you. So does Mom.

The day we met... I'm all of a few minutes old and I can tell you're already taken with me.

This was auction day. I'm only 4 weeks old.

And the 4th of July. It rained and you held me tight so I wouldn't be scared.

It was such a fun summer.

As if attending classes inutero was not enough, Mom drags me all the way to Norman so she can go to class and finish her Masters. It's like she thinks she has her own life or something. At least she let me eat some fries at the Union.

And she was just SO excited to show me around Gaylord. Not nearly as interesting as French fries, but whatever.

Even Mr. Gaylord doesn't seem inmpressed.

Baby's First Wedding!

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away, Ms. Jessica got engaged to Mr. Will. Ms. Jessica asked Mom to be a bridesmaid and she said yes without knowing it would require hauling myself in all the way to Kansas at 2 a.m. so I would sleep and not scream the whole way.

But we did finally make it. And look how pretty we are standing together in scenic Kansas!

Okay, so maybe Kansas is not so scenic after all...

But the wedding was very nice. We even got to release butterflies!

But all good things have a price. That's our Jeep's tire on a 10 mile stretch of the dustiest Kansas backroad you've ever seen. And I do mean ON the road. In shredded little pieces everywhere. Luckily, Aunt Abigail was there to rescue us in her shiny red car while Dad stayed behind to fix the Jeep. Remind me to send her a fruit basket. You think she likes prunes as much as I do?

The game was very intense so I was sure to stay very close to Dad so he woulnd't miss anything. Not the game, silly! This way he didn't miss out on any of my cuteness!

Passing the Time

So you have probably been womdering what I do to pass the time. Sometimes I stare at my mom until she does something funny... A.K.A. Get the camera out of my face!

I really like to hang out with this guy. He's so much cooler than my mom.

Or I play with my feet. They are also way cooler than my mom.

Or I read books with Dad. This one is my favorite!
